Beginning Cyclist Clinic

Lauren Clayton will host a "Beginning Cyclist Clinic" this Sunday, March 13th, at 2:30 p.m. at Howard High School.  The clinic will cover topics such as group riding etiquette, clipless pedal use, bike fit, what to have in your bike bag, bike nutrition, cycling safety and some exciting upcoming group rides in the Macon area.  There will be a 15 to 20 mile group ride following the discussion with experienced riders to guide you!  You can also learn about volunteering at the Macon Cycling Classic Bike Race that the GA Neurosurgical Cycling Team will host on May 7th at the clinic.  Email Lauren at lauren.f.clayton@gmail.com for more details!

Countdown to Albany

T-minus 12 days until the first race of the year in Albany for the category 2 squad of myself, John, and Drew. Hopefully we come up with a result because it will be a solid field I'm sure. Big Johnny has his eye on a result and I fully intend to do whatever I can to help him out in any way I can. Hopefully we can take our experience from last year and use it to race smart. - Jake Andrews

Tuesday/Thursday Worlds

The Macon Tuesday and Thursday group rides will begin on Tuesday, March 15th at 6pm at Mt. Zion Church on Rivoli Road. Tuesday and Thursday route maps can be found on our MidGA Route finder (click the link above this blog).

Winter Training Camp 2011

The Spine Team travelled south to the land of Hudspeth this weekend for their annual three-day winter training camp. The riding was good and the steaks were even better.
